LINDEN, NJ –- Linpark Square, a new 277,500 square foot retail complex which is currently under construction along the Route 1 & 9 corridor in the City of Linden, will feature two prominent national retailers as its anchor tenants.

Garden Commercial Properties, developer of the open-air retail destination, has signed leases with Kohl’s Department Stores and Sam’s Club, the first of what is expected to be an eclectic roster of recognizable tenants that will comprise Linpark Square, indicates Mario Dudzinski, Vice President of Real Estate for the Short Hills, N.J.-based developer.

Sam’s Club has reserved 139,000 square feet of space while Kohl’s will occupy 104,000 square feet.  Both retail stores are expected to be completed and open in 2008.

"Linpark Square combines all the geographical and demographical elements that retailers seek in a commercial complex," Mr. Dudzinski points out.  "It’s location along the heavily traveled Route 1 & 9 corridor in Linden will ensure an abundance of drive-by traffic, while the surrounding densely populated communities provide an established customer base."

Situated at the intersection of Routes 1 & 9 and Park Avenue, Linpark Square will consist of five free-standing retail buildings once completed.   25,000 square feet of prime retail space remains available for lease at the complex.
