BEST BUY COMPLETES ROSTER OF NATIONAL RETAIL TENANTS AT RIVERDALE CROSSING

RIVERDALE, N.J. Riverdale Crossing is fully leased thanks to the addition of yet another major national retail tenant at the 260,000 square-foot shopping center situated on the emerging Route 23 retail corridor in this Morris County Borough.
Best Buy has signed a 32,091 square-foot lease at the two-story complex, joining other highly recognizable brands such as anchor tenant Wal Mart, Border’s Books and Music, The Sports Authority, Pier One Imports and Chili’s, according to Garden Commercial Properties, which owns and manages the center.
Best Buy is expected to begin operations at Riverdale Crossing in late June, indicates Michael Gartenberg, Director of Leasing for the Short Hills, N.J. based company.
“Since it’s opening in 2006, Riverdale Crossing has become one of the major shopping destinations for consumers in Morris and Passaic Counties,” says Mr. Gartenberg. “Its location on the Route 23 corridor extending from Wayne to West Milford makes it easily accessible to the growing residential bases in the area and been a major reason why we’ve sustained an incredibly stable tenant base.
“With the addition of Best Buy, Riverdale Crossing is once again fully leased and we’re pleased to welcome this highly-recognizable chain which is the perfect complement to the national retailers that have been operating here.”
Situated directly on Route 23, adjacent to the intersection of Route 287,
