RIVERDALE, N.J. - Garden Commercial Properties has begun construction on Riverdale Crossing, a new two-story shopping center conveniently located on Route 23 North in this Morris County Township.

The new 260,000 square feet retail facility will be anchored by a Wal-Mart, and house such national retailers as Linens-n-Things, Sports Authority, Pier One Imports and a Chili's restaurant, according to the Short Hills-based developer.

"This area of Morris County is emerging as a new exciting retail destination," indicates Scott Loventhal, Director of Development at Garden Commercial Properties.

Riverdale Crossing will further broaden the shopping experience for residents of this region by adding nationally-recognized retail giants to an area quickly establishing itself as a prime retail hotspot recognized by its variety of specialty shops, strip malls and restaurants.

Not only will residents of Morris and Passaic Counties enjoy its convenience, but Bergen County residents will find it ideal, especially for Sunday shopping.

Situated directly on Route 23, adjacent to the intersection of Route 287, the center will be located in close proximity to several other major thoroughfares including Routes 202, 46 and 80.
