RIVERDALE, N.J. - One of the most recognizable names in the sporting goods industry is coming to Riverdale N.J. as Sports Authority has signed a lease for a new facility at Riverdale Crossing, a new two-story shopping center conveniently located in this Morris County Township.
The popular retailer will occupy 40,000 square feet of space at the new 260,000 square-foot complex -- joining prominent tenants including Linens-n-Things, Pier One Imports, Wal-Mart and a Chili's restaurant, according to Garden Commercial Properties, which is developing Riverdale Crossing along the emerging Route 23 retail corridor.
"We're delighted to add The Sports Authority to Riverdale Crossing's exciting list of national retailers,” says Mario Dudzinski, Vice President of Real Estate at the Short Hills, N.J.-based Garden Commercial Properties. "We believe the nation's leading supplier of sporting goods will be a vital asset in creating a vibrant shopping environment at this complex."
Situated directly on Route 23, adjacent to the intersection of Route 287, the center will be located in close proximity to several other major thoroughfares including Routes 202, 46 and 80.
